2025 Breakfast of Champions
Baseball fans, get ready to meet one of the game’s greats! Dante Bichette, a four-time MLB All-Star and a key figure in the Colorado Rockies' famed “Blake Street Bombers,” will be the featured speaker at our Friends of Baseball Breakfast of Champions. Known for his explosive bat and clutch performances, Bichette was one of the most feared hitters of the 1990s.
Over the course of his 14-season MLB career, Bichette amassed 274 home runs, 1,141 RBIs, and an impressive .299 batting average. His standout season came in 1995 when he led the league with 40 home runs and 128 RBIs, earning him the National League Silver Slugger Award and finishing second in MVP voting. Bichette also hit one of the most memorable home runs in Rockies history, the game-winning walk-off homer in the first game ever played at Coors Field.
Beyond the stats, Bichette’s love for the game and his unique insights as a player, coach, and mentor make him an engaging and inspirational speaker. Autograph Tickets: You can purchase autograph tickets in advance on our website below or at the event. However, tickets are limited and may sell out, so we encourage you to get yours early!

These tickets are for items you bring from home that you’d like signed by Dante Bichette. Bring your favorite baseball, jersey, bat, or other special item to create a truly personal keepsake!

Includes items like:
Jerseys or other large apparel (jackets, etc.)

Baseballs, baseball cards, 8x10 printed photos

Since 1988, the Friends of Baseball have proudly hosted the Breakfast of Champions, an iconic annual event that brings together baseball legends and passionate supporters of youth baseball. Over the years, this prestigious gathering has featured renowned figures such as Nolan Ryan, Tommy Lasorda, Tim Raines, and Darryl Strawberry, making it a must-attend event for baseball enthusiasts.
In addition to the chance to hear from these legends, the Breakfast of Champions includes an exquisite auction, offering high-end, exclusive items that appeal to serious collectors and supporters alike.
The proceeds from this event help to support youth baseball in our community, including funding local recreation programs, providing an annual scholarship to a deserving applicant, and so much more. Each year, this event plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of young athletes, while keeping the love of the game alive.
